Who We Are - We love what we do and it shows. Our Instructors have more than 138 years of combined experience in martial arts! We are a professional and passionate team of highly skilled, time served martial artists.
Syllabus and Programs - We have a fantastic, fun, syllabus through to Black Belt which incorporates a variety of martial art styles including Kickboxing, Karate, Taekwondo, Judo and Grappling. Suitable for all abilities and ages from 3 years to adult.
We teach Kids MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) ensuring they are taught only to use it in self defence and also ensure they are taught on the basis of mutual respect, discipline, good values and most importantly it's great fun!
Our kids Martial Arts lessons are taught by fully qualified, fully insured, Criminal Record Checked Instructors so you can be sure they are in safe hands!

Absolutely. At Pitbull MMA, safety is our top priority. All classes are led by experienced, certified coaches who emphasize proper technique, controlled sparring, and gradual skill progression. Every session is designed to challenge you while minimizing the risk of injury. We also provide guidance on warm-ups, protective gear, and recovery so you can train confidently, no matter your experience level. Safety doesn’t mean easy—it means smart, effective training you can stick with long-term.
No, you don’t need a traditional uniform to start. Most of our beginners train in comfortable athletic clothing like shorts and a t-shirt.
We have memberships that begin at £30 p/m
You would be very welcome to watch your children’s skills develop from the glazed doors situated around the Dojo. We also have plenty of seating in the building, an honesty library, and an outdoor garden with seats for the warmer months! We encourage parents to get involved with the sparring sessions, scoring, timing and even run free courses to train interested parents to become referees!
Comfortable gym clothes (t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms or shorts) are fine to start. If you continue, we’ll guide you on how to get a uniform (gi).

A warm up and mobility drills
Line up for technique improvement
Partner drills & pad work on Focus Pads, Paddles, Thai Pads & Kickshields
Self defence both empty handed and using weapons

Absolutely! Our classes are beginner-friendly, and we pride ourselves on being welcoming and supportive. No experience or fitness level is required to start.
